Description
During the school holidays your kids can become Wildlife Guardians and spend the day with the keepers behind-the-scenes in the Wildlife Sanctuary, learning about conservation and caring for our wildlife
The day will include:
- Creating enrichment for wildlife by making safe treats and toys that encourage play and stimulate their natural behaviours
- Understanding the process in planting at home to encourage wildlife into your backyard in a safe environment
- Bug & Insect play
- learning about our wildlife and the impact that we have as humans on their conservation
- Geo’s famous “Who Am I” interactive game where the aim is for visitors to collaborate and share their knowledge of animals, problem solve and find solutions as a team
Numbers are strictly limited so book in early to avoid disappointment
Age: 8-12 years
Limit: 20 per day | 10 per workshop
Time: 9am to 3.30pm (register 8.30am)
